We have a brilliant opportunity within the Below the Line department for an Agents Assistant. Clients represented in this office include Directors of Photography, Production Designers, Costume Designers and Editors. This is an amazing opportunity to grow and develop your skillset as an Assistant in a busy, fast-paced office.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and written and verbal skills and will need to be a strong organiser with a passion for Film and TV. Good communication is crucial since our work involves phone calls, written correspondence, and in-person interactions. Previous experience in an industry related role is essential. Previous experience in a production related role is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process contracts, issue invoices and keep track of payments.
- Providing full administrative support to the agent and the office as a whole across all clients.
- Handling a high volume of emails and calls from productions and clients.
- Updating CVs and managing each client’s website page.
- Arranging and following up on client meetings.
- Ensuring that the projects database is up to date and accurate.
- Diary management for the Agents and clients - which is often complicated in nature as often clients work across more than one discipline.
Key Qualities and Skills:
- Strong numerical skills as invoice generating will be a large part of this role.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Trustworthy and reliable as this role involves dealing with highly confidential material and client information.
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
- Scrupulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Tagmin.
- A positive can-do attitude with the willingness and ability to learn.
- A good listener, intuitive and adaptable.
- Has the ability to remain calm when under pressure.
- Has the ability to work at a fast pace, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled at building solid working relationships across the whole department.
- A conscientious attitude to time keeping and punctuality
- A strong and demonstrable passion for Film and Television.
