General Operative to complement our existing team. Please note the hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 07:15 a. m.
16:00 p. m. and Friday 07:15 a. m. to 14:15 p. m.
Role
Overview: Reporting to the Production Supervisor / Production and Planning Manager this role is responsible for carrying out general duties within the Conveyors section / Sheet Metal section.
Main duties involved in the role are as follows: Assist with any shop floor activity required involved during the assembly of products, including removing laser film, bending, deburring, assisting with lifting and linishing etc.
Using hand and pneumatic tools may be required.
Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ensure areas are kept clean and tidy and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience however training will be provided should this be required.
Skills and
Experience: Experience of working on a shop-floor environment is advantageous.
Be able to work within a team or on your own.
Possess a can do attitude, with the ability to pay attention to detail in all tasks required.
A forklift licence and any other manufacturing/fabrication skills qualifications would be an advantage.
