Unitech Engineering Ltd is the leading supplier of high-quality stainless steel and aluminium equipment for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries. Based in Burntwood, Staffordshire, an excellent and varied opportunity has arisen to recruit for an Office Administrator.
Hours Of Work: 25 Hours Per Week, Monday β Friday 09.30 β 2.30pm
Role Overview: Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, this role is responsible for providing an all-round administration support service to an extremely fast-paced HR department. Other duties involved in the role are as follows:
- Provide clerical assistance to the HR department including scanning and filing.
- Deal with confidential correspondence incoming and outgoing whether written or verbal.
- Screen phone calls, enquiries and requests and handle them when appropriate.
- Assist with recruitment: generating adverts and arranging interviews.
- Complete all new starter associated paperwork including new starter packs and completing the right to work checks.
- Support in the preparation of payroll when required.
- Update & maintain HR records both electronically and manually.
- Update and maintain all Training records.
- Assist with the arranging and maintaining of all employees' Occupational Health records.
- Update all HR Spreadsheets.
- Complete right to work checks where an individual is on a time-limited work visa.
- Complete Driving license checks in line with Company policy.
- Assist with discipline, grievance and absence management administration when required, including taking notes.
- Assist with the collation and distribution of new Policies and Procedures at Site level and Group Level.
- Archiving electronic and paper personal files.
- Any other administrative duties as required and within your remit and skill set.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2 yearsβ previous experience working in a similar role.
- Be able to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Be able to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
- Must be quality driven with attention to detail being paramount in everything achieved.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
