Unite With Us is The Agency Alternative. We build the right team around the brief, instead of forcing every brief through the same old agency machine. No bloated overheads. No mystery mark-ups. No “meet the A-team, get the C-team” nonsense. Now we need someone who can help make that model work day to day. This role sits somewhere between Project Manager, Client Partner and B2B Social Media Manager.
You’ll manage a range of marketing and communications projects, lead client relationships, coordinate freelance creative teams and take ownership of specific B2B social media projects - from strategy and content planning through to creation and reporting. It’s a broad role. That’s the point.
You’ll need to be organised, commercially switched on, good with clients, sharp on detail and confident enough with social media to build proper B2B content plans - not just fill a calendar with noise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients across marketing, comms and social projects
- Managing multiple projects at once across content, design, video, events, social and creative production
- Building strong client relationships and keeping people confident, informed and onside
- Selecting and managing the right freelance talent for each brief
- Keeping projects on time, on budget and on brief
- Owning quality control before work goes to the client
- Translating client feedback into clear direction for creative teams
- Leading B2B social media strategies and content plans for clients
- Creating social content yourself where needed, including copy, concepts and post ideas
- Briefing writers, designers, videographers and other specialists when the work needs it
- Reviewing performance and helping clients understand what is working
- Spotting opportunities to grow accounts and turn good work into more work
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll probably have worked in a creative, marketing, communications or agency environment before. You know how to manage clients, creative people, deadlines and budgets without everything catching fire. You’ll also know B2B social media properly. Not just scheduling posts. Not just “doing LinkedIn”. You can build a plan, write the content, shape the message and understand what good looks like.
You are likely to be someone who:
- Is highly organised but not robotic
- Builds trust quickly with clients
- Can manage multiple moving parts without losing the plot
- Has experience running marketing, comms or creative projects
- Has created or managed B2B social media strategies
- Can write clear, sharp social copy
- Knows when to do something yourself and when to bring in a specialist
- Cares about quality and details
- Can talk about scope, budget and value without getting weird
- Spots problems early and fixes them fast
- Likes the idea of a smarter, leaner, more honest agency model
What you’ll get:
- Competitive base salary
- Full-time remote working, with occasional in-person client sessions and team days
- Real trust and autonomy
- Access to a brilliant network of freelance creative talent
- A role with genuine variety across clients, projects and sectors
- A business that is already built, but still has plenty of room to grow
- A culture based on transparency, fairness and proper people
This probably is not for you if:
- You need a big team around you to function
- You think project management is just chasing deadlines
- You’ve only managed social media at posting and scheduling level
- You’re uncomfortable talking about budgets or scope
- You need everything to be perfectly defined before you start
- You think “content calendar” is another phrase for “strategy”
This is for you if:
- You’re a natural fixer
- You bring calm to creative chaos
- You can manage clients, projects and social content without needing three different job titles
- You care about good work and good relationships
- You want variety, autonomy and responsibility
- You believe the traditional agency model is creaking - and something better is here
Final word:
This is a role for someone who can help hold the work together and move it forward. You’ll manage projects. You’ll lead clients. You’ll build B2B social plans. You’ll create content. You’ll work with brilliant freelancers. And you’ll help us grow accounts by doing the job properly. If you believe in the alternative, unite with us.
