Full-time | Remote (UK-based - Ideally North West) | Base + Generous Commission

Worked at a traditional agency? Fed up with the bloated retainers, the pitch theatre, the meetings about meetings? Yeah, we thought so.

We’re Unite - The Agency Alternative and we’ve binned the broken model entirely. No overhead fluff. No bait-and-switch. Just world-class freelance talent, built around each brief, delivered at startup speed.

The Role: This is a 70% sales, 30% marketing split. You’ll be hunting new business, building relationships, and converting prospects who are ready for a better way. The marketing bit? That’s amplifying what you’re already doing in conversations - not building PowerPoints no one reads.

What you’ll actually do:

  • Own and smash revenue targets through relentless, smart outreach
  • Build pipeline. Lots of it. Then convert it.
  • Have real conversations with prospects who are sick of agency BS
  • Articulate why the old model is broken and why we’re the answer
  • Use LinkedIn and other channels to stay visible and build relationships
  • Work with leadership to shape proposals that land
  • Close deals. Repeat.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have worked at a traditional agency and seen the cracks up close
  • Can sell with substance - no jargon, no empty hype, just sharp and honest
  • Are hungry, target-driven, and don’t need hand-holding
  • Know how to build relationships that actually go somewhere
  • Can handle rejection, learn fast, and keep moving
  • Understand that sales is about listening, not talking over people
  • Are comfortable working remotely with autonomy and accountability

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive base + generous commission (the more you bring in, the more you earn)
  • Remote working with proper trust and zero micromanagement
  • A model that actually works and clients who get it once you show them
  • No bloated bureaucracy slowing you down
  • Company perks and a culture built on honesty, not hollow values posters

Why now? We’ve just rebranded. The engine’s built. The model’s proven. Now we need someone who can get out there and grow this thing properly.

If you’ve done your time in traditional agencies, you’re done with the spin, and you’re ready to sell something you can actually believe in - let’s talk.

Golden rule: If you sound like you’re reading from an agency script, you’ve failed. If you sound like a human who’s done with the agency BS, you’re on track.

To apply: Send your CV along with a short note on why the traditional agency model drove you mad and why you’re the one to sell the alternative.
