Interim HR Business Partner Job Opportunity

Our client, a healthcare charity (450 employees), is seeking an experienced Interim HR Business Partner to join their team on a 9 month contract basis, as a maternity cover contract. This is a pivotal role for someone with a strong track record in employee relations, HR change management, and organisational restructures. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide strategic HR support during a period of significant organisational development, bringing expertise and stability to their people function.
- Lead employee relations and HR change initiatives during a critical restructuring phase, including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals
- Look at role structures and realigning of roles, including bench-marking of roles
- Lead consultations
- Support managers through the restructure process
- Β£40,070 per annum on a 9 month interim contract
- Strategic HR partnership role with direct impact on organisational outcomes
The role is based in Sittingbourne, Kent, and you will be required on-site 4 days per week. There will also be occasional travel to other sites including Eltham and St Leonards. Working week is 37 hours.
Preferred Requirements
- Proven expertise in employee relations, with experience managing sensitive conversations and resolving workplace issues
- Demonstrated success leading HR change programmes and organisational restructures
- Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice HR governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work independently and build credibility quickly in an interim capacity
- Minimum five years' experience in an HR business partner or similar strategic HR role
- Experience working within healthcare, charity or non-profit organisation would be beneficial.
Recruitment Process:
This will be a one-stage interview process and interviews are likely to take place the week beginning 5th October. You will meet with the Director of HR and Head of HR for a competency based interview, and a short presentation (which you will prepare in advance).
Successful candidates will be required to secure an Enhanced DBS as part of the on-boarding process.
