A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Reward Advisor to join our Head Office in Bristol. Reporting to the Reward Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting Reward activity across Unite Students, helping to shape how we deliver pay, benefits, incentives, and recognition in a way that is fair, consistent, and focused on creating a great colleague experience. This is a varied and hands‐on role, offering exposure to a broad range of Reward activity. You'll work with employee data and systems, so a logical mindset and confidence using basic Excel will be important. We're looking for someone with experience in Reward, HR/People Services, Payroll, Finance, or a similar discipline who is keen to develop their career in Reward. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who questions the status quo, looks for smarter ways of working, and enjoys making processes simpler and more effective. This is a brilliant opportunity to build a long‐term career in Reward within a supportive and collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting key annual Reward processes including pay and bonus reviews, gender pay gap reporting, benefits enrolment, and benchmarking submissions
- Working with the People Services team to help resolve more complex colleague Reward queries
- Supporting the annual employee benefits cycle, including coordination with external suppliers
- Helping identify and deliver process improvements, including opportunities for automation
- Supporting the maintenance of Reward policies and guidance documents
- Assisting with budget tracking and reporting (monthly and annual cycles)
- Supporting the Reward Manager with projects and ad‐hoc tasks
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable working with numbers and basic Excel functions (e.g., IF, VLOOKUP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and ways of working
- Experience in Reward, HR/People Services, Payroll, Finance, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- A collaborative approach and enjoyment of working as part of a small, dynamic team
