Job Description

Vacancy: Freelance Site Manager\\n\\nLocation: Sheffield\\n\\nUnite People are working alongside a specialist construction contractor to hire a Site Manager, focussing on managing trades and subcontractors on refurbishment of an existing building.\\n\\nScope of works includes rendering, cladding, masonry repointing and facade repairs. Weekend working is essential for this role in order to stay on programme.\\n\\nThe Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing works are carried out by trades staff and sub-contractors safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. You will ideally have experience of building refurbishment, facades and public sector buildings would be a bonus.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Overseeing internal fitout of individual, specialist rooms including flooring, joinery and M&E packages.\\n\\n * Use snagging software to record defects, quality issues and progress.\\n\\n * Maintain high health & safety standards throughout\\n\\n * Attend meetings with Site and Project management to discuss programme and progress.\\n\\n * Making sure the project is finished to client satisfaction\\n\\nRequired Qualifications & Training\\n\\n * CSCS Black Card\\n\\n * SMSTS\\n\\n * First Aid\\n\\n * Strong package management experience\\n\\n * Excellent quality control\\n\\n * Strong People Management experience\\n\\n * Strong people skills\\n\\nFor more information, please contact Brad Burgin at Unite People Sheffield or submit a CV for application
