We are recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to support the delivery of civils, water, drainage, highways, reinforced concrete, and earthworks schemes across the North West and Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Foreman with strong site leadership skills, good technical understanding, and a proactive approach to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
The Role
As Site Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, managing site gangs, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising general civils works including drainage, reinforced concrete, earthworks, water, and highways activities
- Ensuring RAMS are fully implemented and communicated to site teams
- Promoting strong HSQE standards and ensuring operatives are wearing the correct PPE
- Carrying out daily briefings, toolbox talks, inspections, and site checks
- Reporting near-misses, accidents, hazards, and changing site conditions to management
- Working closely with the wider project team to support safe and efficient delivery
- Ensuring adequate manpower, materials, plant, and equipment are available and organised on site
