An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor with a strong regional presence. With a secured pipeline of projects across Yorkshire, the business delivers works spanning highways & infrastructure, structures, public realm, water, and flood alleviation schemes.
Responsibilities
- Leading site delivery and managing site teams/subcontractors
- Planning and sequencing works to ensure programme, quality, and cost targets are met
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, environmental, and quality standards
- Chairing site meetings and liaising with clients, designers, and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Supporting project leadership with forecasting, resourcing, and commercial control
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Agent (or strong Sub-Agent ready to step up) on civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of highways, structures, or infrastructure works
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
