We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major AMP8 water-sector scheme in the North West, with a 15m 20m project due to start in Liverpool in August. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working and dynamic Project Manager with strong experience in the water sector, particularly across reinforced concrete, shaft sinking, and United Utilities environments.
The Role
- As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from design and ECI through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing water-sector projects from early contractor involvement through to commissioning
- Defining project scopes, identifying technical requirements, and developing robust, deliverable project plans
- Overseeing reinforced concrete works, shaft sinking, and associated civil engineering activities
- Working within a United Utilities environment and ensuring compliance with client requirements
- Managing project costs, forecasting expenditure, and monitoring commercial performance
- Leading site teams and resources, including supporting the development of team members
