Civils CAD Technician – Distribution Centre Project
Location: Immingham
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Civils CAD Technician to join our project team delivering a major distribution centre build in Immingham. This is a key role supporting civil and infrastructure design works from enabling through to completion. Working closely with our engineering and site teams, you will produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for groundworks, drainage, highways, utilities, and external works packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate CAD drawings for civils and infrastructure elements
- Support design coordination with engineers, site managers, and subcontractors
- Work on drainage layouts, levels, external works and access roads
- Assist in updating design revisions and keeping drawing records up to date
- Collaborate with external consultants and stakeholders as needed
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards (e.g. DMRB, Building Regs, SuDS)
Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD and ideally Civil 3D or similar
- Experience in civil/groundworks drawings for industrial or logistics projects
- Knowledge of drainage, levels, kerbing, and external civils detailing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- HNC/HND or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or CAD
Desirable
- Previous experience on distribution/logistics centre or large industrial builds
- Familiarity with BIM processes and 3D modelling
- Understanding of CDM and construction phasing
