Experienced General Foreman required for a long-term freelance role on a major civils project near Swaffham. You will play a key role in managing key civils and structural packages from early works through to superstructure.

Location: Swaffham

Engagement: Outside IR35 / CIS

Start: ASAP

Duration: 18+ months

Rate: £330–£370/day

Scope Includes:

  • Earthworks & drainage
  • RC structures & concrete bases
  • Steel frame buildings
  • External cladding & envelope works

Role:

  • Oversee daily site operations and subcontractors
  • Drive progress and productivity to meet programme milestones
  • Maintain high HSE standards (toolbox talks, inductions, RAMS)
  • Liaise with engineers, supervisors & site management team
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and daily diaries

Requirements:

  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
  • Strong background in civils & industrial projects
  • Experience managing both groundworks and structural packages
  • Able to read drawings and support QA on site
