A leading main civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced General Foreman to work on a long-term highways framework across the Liverpool area. The Role
- Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of highways works on projects typically valued between £5m – £50m, including:
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating daily activities to programme
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Managing RAMS, permits, and site paperwork
- Liaising with Site Management and Engineers
- Maintaining high standards of HSEQ compliance

- Section delivery within live environments
About You
- 8 years’ experience delivering highways projects
- Strong background in drainage, kerbing & surfacing
- Proven experience operating as a General Foreman on civil engineering schemes
- Comfortable managing gangs, subcontractors & programme pressures
