We are recruiting for an experienced Highways Site Agent / Site Manager to support the delivery of national and local highways framework schemes across the North West and Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on highways professional with strong site management experience, a positive approach to health and safety, and the flexibility to support both daytime and night-shift works where required.
The Role
As Highways Site Agent / Site Manager, you will work closely with Framework Managers and Project Managers to ensure schemes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Framework Managers and Project Managers across national and local highways frameworks
- Managing day-to-day site operations, including night-shift handovers where required
- Writing, reviewing, and briefing RAMS, Work Package Plans, Task Briefings, and associated site documentation
- Creating and managing short-term lookahead programmes, milestones, and resource plans
- Promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture in line with CDM requirements
- Monitoring forecast costs, commercial performance, and assisting with site budget management
- Supporting the administration of NEC contracts
