We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of residential infrastructure works on a long-term development in the Grimsby area. The role will involve managing the delivery of roads, sewers and associated infrastructure packages within a live residential development environment. This is a long-term opportunity (approx. 2 years) with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site management of residential infrastructure works
- Overseeing roads and sewers packages
- Managing subcontractors, site teams and programme delivery
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Liaising with engineers, commercial teams and the client
- Maintaining site documentation and compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering residential infrastructure / roads & sewers projects
- Strong site management background within civil engineering
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid (preferred)
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets
