Unite People Civils is working with a privately owned contractor. The business is a long-standing infrastructure contractor, that has a significant footprint of work within the Yorkshire region . An Estimator is required to facilitate the on-going demand of enquiries the company is receiving

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work on significant projects. Be able to engage with the board directors, to focus on work winning of viable profitable tender opportunities.

Day to day

• Estimate costs from first principles; including labour, equipment, and materials.

• Liaise with the bid team and operational teams

• Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals.

• Previous experience as a civil engineering Estimator

• Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications.

• Strong analytic and mathematical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
