Coordinate installation and testing. Work with contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure electrical systems (power, lighting, control panels, etc.) are installed according to drawings and specifications, then scheduled for testing.

Assist with commissioning activities. Oversee or track key steps like pre-commissioning checks, energisation, functional testing, and system validation.

Review documentation. Check drawings, schematics, and method statements; ensure test certificates, inspection reports, and commissioning records are complete and compliant.

Troubleshoot issues. When something doesn’t work during testing, help identify faults, coordinate fixes, and make sure systems are retested.

Ensure compliance and safety. Confirm that all work meets relevant electrical standards, regulations, and site safety requirements before systems go live.

Liaise with stakeholders. Communicate between project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to keep commissioning on schedule and resolve issues quickly.

Support handover. Make sure everything is documented, signed off, and ready for the client or operations team to take over.
