An experienced Freelance Site Supervisor / Foreman is required to support the delivery of a major infrastructure scheme in Cheshire. Working for a specialist reinforced concrete and structures contractor, you will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of a range of structural and civil engineering works, including bridge structures, culverts and associated infrastructure packages. This role would suit an individual with a strong background supervising reinforced concrete, structures and heavy civils projects, with the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and daily operations to ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification.

Scope of Works

  • Supervising reinforced concrete structures works
  • Overseeing bridge construction packages
  • Managing culvert installation and associated civils works
  • Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and plant
  • Monitoring quality, productivity and programme performance
  • Ensuring compliance with RAMS and site safety procedures
  • Liaising with engineers, site management and client representatives
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Foreman, General Foreman or Site Supervisor within civil engineering
  • Strong background delivering RC structures, bridges, culverts or heavy civils works
  • Ability to manage labour, plant and subcontractors effectively
  • Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid (preferred)
