An experienced Freelance Site Agent is required for ongoing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement works across Yorkshire. The role will involve managing structural maintenance and heavy civils packages on highways infrastructure schemes, with a strong focus on safety, programme delivery, quality and stakeholder coordination. Scope of Works
- Managing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement projects
- Overseeing expansion joint replacements
- Managing bearing replacement works
- Supervising waterproofing and concrete repair packages
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and engineering staff
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Monitoring progress, quality and commercial performance
- Liaising with clients, engineers and project stakeholders
- Driving programme delivery and resolving on-site issues
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or major civils infrastructure projects
- Strong background in bridge, viaduct or structural repair works
- Experience managing structural refurbishment and maintenance packages
- Good understanding of temporary works, sequencing and safe delivery practices
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Temporary Works awareness preferred
- First Aid preferred
- Strong leadership, planning and programme management capability
- Excellent communication and health & safety awareness
