This position combines technical accounting expertise with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach. You’ll own month‑end processes, JV reporting, and support projects such as corporate restructures, equity transactions, and new JV setups.

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure reported results are complete and accurate.
- Prepare quarterly variance reports on fund overheads.
- Manage group recharges for USAF, including invoicing and cost resistions.
- Collaborate with Fund and Investment Finance Business Partners to ensure reporting reflects structural changes accurately.
- Drive timely month‑end close activities, maintaining robust accounting controls and accurate reporting.
- Support ad‑hoc technical projects, including corporate restructures, securitised debt facilities, and equity‑related transactions (distributions and redemptions).
- Produce ad‑hoc reports for stakeholders and budget holders, providing meaningful financial insights.
- Review and validate accounting for a Build‑to‑Rent (BTR) property, supporting a trainee in preparing management accounts and reconciliations.
- Assist with other ad‑hoc tasks to support the wider finance team as required.
What We’re Looking for in You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong post‑qualified experience.
- Strong financial reporting experience in a corporate, fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of joint ventures and complex groups.
- Excellent Excel and IT skills (PivotTables, Lookups, etc.).
- Continuous improvement mindset, focused on driving efficiency.
- Self‑starter with strong initiative, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships across all levels.
- Highly organised, accurate, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.
What You’ll Get in Return
- A discretionary annual bonus so you can share in the company’s success.
- 25 days paid holiday and an annual holiday buying scheme, with 5 additional days awarded for long service.
- A generous pension scheme – employer contributions between 5% and 11% depending on how much you save.
- Various benefits to support your health and wellbeing including a Healthcare Cash Plan, an Employee Assistance Programme, a Wellbeing platform and a Gym benefit that you can share with your family and friends.
