The Role
Our fantastic Finance Team is looking for an experienced Legal Entity Accountant to join our Group Reporting team in Bristol. This role focuses on statutory reporting and entity‑level compliance across a large and complex group structure following the acquisition of Empiric Student Property PLC. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and gain exposure to complex reporting and technical accounting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing statutory accounts for 100+ entities
- Supporting month‑end reporting and reconciliations across 300+ entities
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP reporting standards
- Supporting JV accounting, reporting, and group recharges
- Assisting with finance system improvements and corporate structure projects
- Preparing reports for external bodies including the Office for National Statistics
What We're Looking For
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- 3+ years experience in financial reporting or accounts production
- Strong UK GAAP knowledge
- Experience with complex group structures and multiple entities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
