The Project Manager - Property Technology leads the successful delivery of Digital Property projects, with a primary focus on capital-funded technology initiatives.
Working across live operational environments, the role ensures technology investments are delivered safely, efficiently, and with lasting value.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Property, the role bridges strategy and execution, turning digital and property priorities into operationally embedded outcomes that enhance the resident and colleague experience.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the successful delivery of property technology projects, from business case through to implementation and handover.
- Drive capital-funded investments (£50k-£2m+) and digital initiatives that enhance operational performance and resident experience.
- Manage projects in live environments, balancing safety, business continuity, stakeholder needs, and delivery excellence.
- Own project plans, budgets, risks, and governance, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Build strong relationships across Property, Operations, Digital, Finance, and external partners to achieve shared goals.
- Oversee suppliers and contractors, ensuring quality delivery, compliance, and value for money.
- Turn technology investments into sustainable, operational solutions that deliver long-term business value.
What We're Looking for in You
- 12+ months experience in a Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager role.
- Experience supporting the delivery of IT infrastructure, construction, or technology-enabled projects.
- Experience working in live, operational, or occupied environments.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, and third-party delivery partners. Experience contributing to project planning, risk management, governance, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with appropriate guidance.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e. g. MS Planner).
- Understanding of IT infrastructure (e. g. networks, connectivity, servers, integrated systems).
- Awareness of construction or estates-based delivery environments.
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and its implications for safe, compliant project delivery.
- Working towards or holding a recognised project management qualification (e. g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent), with a commitment to ongoing development.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and organised approach to work.
- Strong communicator, comfortable engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work across technology, construction, and operational teams in complex environments.
- Calm, resilient, and confident when managing ambiguity, change, and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the safe, on time, and on budget delivery of projects, build strong stakeholder relationships, support the successful embedding of solutions into live operations, and maintain clear governance and reporting to enable effective decision making.
