The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours and Rota: 37.5 hours per week. The role will be expected to work an 8-hour shift between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday.

Salary: £35,039 per annum (depending on experience), plus bonus and benefits.

Essential: A full driving license valid for driving in the UK.

What you`ll be doing as a Facilities Team Member:

  • Taking ownership of painting and decorating across our buildings, ensuring that common areas, hallways, and rooms remain fresh, clean, and welcoming throughout the year.
  • Carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating works, including preparation, plaster patch repairs, and finishing to a high standard.
  • Helping to prevent issues such as damp or mould through proactive maintenance and upkeep.
  • Supporting the wider Facilities Team with general maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or repairs) during quieter decorating periods or to cover annual leave.
  • Responding to any Health and Safety related calls.
  • Logging maintenance issues and following up accordingly.

What we`re looking for in you:

  • A passion for delivering top customer service, as the student experience is at the forefront of everything we do.
  • Experience working within general maintenance; basic plumbing and electrical skills are desirable.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Painting & Decorating / NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating.
  • Experience within a customer-facing role.
  • Comfortable with using technology.
  • Experience working in a team.
