Unite is looking for a practical and technically minded person to join our team as a Plumis Smartscan Hydra Technician.
No previous Plumis experience is required – full manufacturer training will be provided, including the training and assessments required to work towards certification.
The Role
You will be trained to install, commission, service and maintain Plumis Smartscan Hydra fire-suppression systems, working initially alongside experienced engineers and progressing towards working independently.
Duties will include:
- Installation of pumps, controllers, spray heads, hoses and associated equipment.
- Testing, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding.
- Following technical instructions and installation drawings.
- Completing electronic job records and reports.
- Working professionally in customers' properties.
- Travelling throughout Scotland, with occasional overnight stays.
- Assisting with other fire and security installation work when required.
