An exciting organisation who has seen impressive growth over the past two years are looking to appoint a high Head of FP&A who will sit on the FLT, and lead a team of their own to drive all things FP&A. You will report to a Finance Director who has a very strong track record of career development for his teams and will absolutely sponsor them to progress through the ranks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the forecasting & budgeting process, coordinating across departments to develop accurate and aligned financial plans.
- Ensure consistent and robust financial models that support business planning and decision-making.
- Lead the monthly financial performance review process, including detailed variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Be firmly involved with DD process to support all M&A activity.
- Prepare monthly management reports and performance packs for senior leadership.
- Provide clear commentary on key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs and conduct ad-hoc analysis to support key projects, initiatives, and business cases.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team to ensure high performance and continuous development.
- Establish strong FP&A processes, controls, and best practices.
- Prepare financial presentations and analysis for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Support strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and growth planning.
Qualifications and experience
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams.
- 5+ years experience within FP&A.
- Can-do attitude is a must.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
