An exciting FMCG business who are becoming leaders within their category are looking to hire a Head of Finance who will be the right hand to the Co-Founders, and driving all things finance throughout the business, for the teams to have a margin focus mindset, amongst many other things!

The growth they have experienced over the last few years especially has put the business on a whole new trajectory, with exciting expansion plans in place, not just within the UK but global too.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering throughout the organisation and being the right hand to the Co‑Founders on all the commercial decision making.
• Overseeing the ‘in‑year’ growth strategy planning as well as the 3‑year strategy focus alongside the co‑founders.
• Managing a small team to ensure all of the ‘core’ finance is managed, to ensure smooth month‑end processes, external auditor relationship management and the right financial controls are in place.
• Working alongside the operations teams to ensure Inventory is well managed.
• Tracking all KPI reporting and analysing financial data to provide strategic insight to support decision‑making and business growth.

Experience, background and qualifications

• Ideally experience within the FMCG/Consumer sector.
• Strong examples of cross‑functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of accounting standard and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in an established start‑up environment.
• A can‑do attitude and up for having fun!
