Job Description
Spencer Rose are urgently looking for a number of experienced Software Engineer with strong Unisys experience to join a technology team supporting a major Tier 1 banking client in Manchester.
Location: Manchester (Hybrid) - 2 days a week in the office
Contract: 6-12 months (strong possibility for extensions)
Day Rate: £385-400pd Inside IR35
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications within a Unisys environment.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and business teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across existing systems.
- Support application modernisation and integration initiatives where required.
- Produce high-quality, well-tested and maintainable code.
Key skills & experience:
- Proven commercial Unisys experience.
- Strong software engineering/development background.
- Experience working within large-scale, complex environments, ideally financial services.
- Good understanding of SDLC, testing and production support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated enterprise environment.
