What success looks like in this role: Job Purpose The Campus Field Engineer provides flexible on-site technical support across multiple customer locations, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery during planned and unplanned absences.
The majority of the customer locations are in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and York.
The role also supports project delivery, IT refreshes, migrations, and service improvement initiatives across a diverse customer portfolio.
UK SC clearance is required to be obtained and maintained throughout employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site field engineering support across multiple customer campuses and locations.
- Cover planned and unplanned absences.
- Deliver DSS support and IMAC activities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Support customer projects, deployments, refreshes, and migrations.
- Provide VIP and VVIP support.
- Support Audio Visual and meeting room technologies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with customer processes and SLAs.
- Required Skills & Experience
- DSS, IMAC, Apple Mac, PC Hardware, Software Support, VIP & VVIP Support, Audio Visual Support, Customer Service, Asset Management, Ticketing Systems, Windows OS, Basic Networking.
Qualifications
- Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- ITIL Foundation and vendor certifications desirable.
- Full UK driving licence & suitable vehicle required.
