The Client CTO (Field and Frontline Services) is an IT Enterprise Architect, CTO and technology/business value evangelist who has overall responsibility for the technology program on leading Unisys accounts and for assisting the sales and Client Executive and operational teams in delivering the contracted services. Primarily focused on expanding our Field and Frontline Services portfolio footprint by creating compelling solutions for our client portfolio, in addition to owning the strategy and Innovation program for the account.
The PLS CTO position requires a higher focus and expertise in the areas of field services, frontline services and in private label services type businesses. The CTO will be responsible for both driving individual PLS client strategies and also the overall PLS services Unisys roadmap. The CTO will provide thought leadership and be able to articulate and apply industry trends/areas of focus and also provide insights on how the future will/should look like.
Working as a trusted advisor to the customers in respect of our scope of contracted services, providing insight and guidance on future innovations and technical roadmaps. The individual is responsible for transforming our processes, people, technology and culture, focused on the quality of client experience at all levels, and acts as a true client advocate, ensuring the client’s voice is heard in all functions and activities, and that this influences Unisys’ priorities and behaviours.
Manage, use and maintain IT/technology architecture models and create a client specific strategy and innovation roadmaps. As Client CTO, you serve as a trusted advisor to the customer in technology related matters. Provide feedback and input whilst working with our portfolio and capability units. Identify, evaluate, and recommend Proof of Concepts, Proof of Value and other solutions that contribute towards building a business case for the customer in respect of new, enhanced or different technologies that would serve its purposes better.
Strong background in Field service delivery, technology, methodology and provide thought leadership in this area of our industry. Provide technical direction to delivery on key projects. Maintain and establish strong partnership with all IT operational teams.
Innovation & Leadership
- Drive and coordinate the Applied Innovation and Service Excellence programs.
- Be an ambassador for the Unisys Service Lines, educating both the Unisys Account teams and Client personnel on the Unisys future strategy, service roadmaps and overall solution architecture.
- Contribute to the technical dimension of Account Plan and produce annual account technology roadmap.
- Communicate and contribute with the Service Lines on issues identified from field observations, client feedback and technical communities.
- Drive unplanned growth on key assigned accounts.
Projects & Change Management
- Analyze and manage customer requirements, and work with the project/change team to develop project plans and associated documents needed to deliver the solution.
- Work with the Change/Project team.
Must have a depth of experience in Field or Frontline Services. Fluent English language skills with experience in English language IT Service Delivery or Presales. Experience as technical lead for a major technology implementation or technical project/program. Bachelor degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience. At least 15 years’ experience as an IT Architect, CTO and Innovation leader. Sound experience in working with large IT Infrastructure service delivery. Strong know-how in Microsoft technology. Strong know-how in Digital Workplace and the subcomponents required to deliver a modern digital workplace. Excellent communication skills in English. As the role will entail working with multiple clients and regular travel is required. Must be eligible for Security Check (SC) level security clearance.
