Unisys are looking for an AV Technician, with strong audio visual and video conferencing knowledge, to support our customer in London.
Responsibilities
- The distribution and management of AV tickets, ad-hoc AV requests and video conferencing
- Maintain an inventory of supported rooms/suites and AV equipment therein
- Assist in providing data for reporting purposes
- Deal with day-to-day administrative duties and any ad-hoc duties required
- Install, diagnose, service and maintain industry standard AV products as well as other computer-related products in meeting rooms/spaces and conference suites
- May be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools
- Manage tickets in client’s ServiceNow environment
- Provides AV related technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the operation of company supported products
- Desk side support specialist with good customer service manner
- May have project management responsibilities for smaller projects
- Performs maintenance as required
- Perform regular inspections to ensure AV equipment is setup and working correctly
- Provides follow-up on problems or escalation
- Work with local Facilities Management and 3rd party vendors where necessary to resolve issues (including escorting of OEM’s/Vendor support staff)
- Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system
- Support the clients high pressure new business events
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Audio-Visual, Digital Signage & VC Systems
- Experience of installing AV & IT hardware and software and diagnosing & resolving problems
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload with good time management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competent to a high level of computer literacy
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
