CNC Swiss Operator/Setup Machinist

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Operator / Setup Machinist to join our production team. The successful candidate will set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-type (Star) CNC machines to produce complex, high-precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, an eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup: Perform comprehensive setups of Swiss-type CNC machines (Star) from start to finish, including tooling selection, installation, offset adjustments, and material loading (bar feeders). Interpret complex technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances (including GD&T).

• Machine Operation: Operate multiple Swiss CNC machines simultaneously, monitoring their performance and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal efficiency and part quality. Load and unload raw materials (bar stock) and finished parts from the machines.
