Our London Design team are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team as we continue our growth through 2026. We are looking for someone who can confidently design great workplaces, think design is more than a job, work closely with our sales team to help develop RFPs, and effectively influence and direct our clients. Above all, your work will transform workspaces, and contribute to some of the most recognisable commercial spaces in the Office Interiors market.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently lead on design projects – varying in size from large to small.
  • Work in close partnership with our clients, providing support as needed.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Design and all members of the Unispace team to ensure that our methodology is delivered throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Communicate with clients, other designers, consultants, Preconstruction, and Delivery teams to ensure that we deliver projects which truly embody our clients vision.
  • Lead project teams in the management of all design work, including compiling technical and interior drawings, finish boards, and full documentation sets.
  • Create and deliver pitches and presentations that wow our clients and put us on the front‑foot for winning work.
  • Pitch in wherever needed as a valued member of a cross‑functional team.
  • Implement design best standards/practices, processes, and technology solutions within the studio.
  • Identify and report risks to the Design Principal, or H&S teams where relevant.
  • Continually enhance depth and breadth of design skills, staying current with external market.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Passion for Interior Design.
  • Experience managing high‑performing project teams, preferably on Commercial Workplace projects.
  • Proficiency in the use of design tools, including Revit, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated willingness to develop existing skills and learn new ones in order to contribute to the team, support our clients and grow within the business.
  • Experience pitching to high‑profile clients, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Positive and energetic under pressure while managing multiple deadlines.
  • A true collaborator, able to create strong relationships with those around you and have a desire to learn and understand how our business works.
  • Express opinions and experience, knowing how to influence and persuade stakeholders to reach the best outcome.
  • Previously worked within the London or European market, and understand the industry and local market trends.
