We’re looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm, strong writing, editing and digital skills, and demonstrable experience who is always ready to try something new.
You’ll work as part of our small dedicated editorial team within a wider communications department that includes in‑house designers and campaigners.
You’ll be a content specialist able to work at all levels of the union to develop strong, eye‑catching and user‑friendly content both in print and online – sometimes from unpromising beginnings.
You’ll interview a wide range of people and tell their story with engaging, attention‑grabbing copy, and you’ll turn organisational information and reports into engaging, data‑led content.
Most important – you’ll know what a good story looks like and how to tell it in the best way possible, while making the world a better place on the side.
We currently operate an Interim Hybrid Working Policy; the successful candidate will be expected to work in the UNISON Centre for 50% of the contracted hours.
