UNISON, the UK’s largest trade union, needs a new Assistant International Officer to assist in the development of policy in specialist areas of international work; to assist in providing support, guidance, information and advice to appropriate lay member structures and support the work of the UNISON International Development Fund.

Location: UNISON Centre, Euston Road, London NW1

Starting salary: £48,787 per annum plus London Weighting allowance of £7,170

About this job: A sound knowledge of the international trade union movement, foreign and development policy and a good understanding of UNISON’s aims, objectives and international campaigns and work are important. The post holder will work under the guidance and support of the Head of International Relations.
