As an Senior Repair Engineer, you will work with your colleagues on the analysis, measurement, repair and testing of industrial electronics. You and about 12 colleagues will form a team of enthusiastic technicians, in which you will learn from each other and from every new assignment you get. You don’t focus on just one make or model; instead, you immerse yourself in industrial electronics from all over the world. Using the huge stock of spare parts and components, you can quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
What Will You Do?
- Carrying out diagnostics and repairs of electronic equipment used in industry, including work at component level (such as PLCs, HMI panels, CNC components, servo drives, UPS, PCBs and others)
- Testing and optimising repaired equipment to ensure full functionality
- Soldering and working with tools and measuring instruments
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation of work performed, diagnoses and spare parts used
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000
