Import Ocean Clerk you will provide the highest level of customer service and build working relationships with all customers and stakeholders to best service their supply chain needs, with timely and accurate communication being key.
You will work closely with an experienced team and be expected to engage in process improvement as part of a growing and flexible team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service for all general telephone / e-mail export enquiries
- Booking export collections with customers, system input and follow-through
- Arranging deliveries
- Export documentation; creating and distributing bills of lading based on customer requirements
- Empty management and booking
- Invoicing; raising within set guidelines and dealing with any queries
- Additional Charge recovery
- Account management; providing that extra level of care where required
- Keep a current and balanced knowledge of shipping regulations, rules and requirements
- Work as part of a flexible and experienced team by supporting colleagues when needed.
- Cargo Readiness Process; critical port and document checks/creation to ensure smooth shipments
- Build positive relationships with key internal stakeholders; operations, equipment, agencies, commercial and transport teams.
