Uniserve is a leading international logistics and supply chain solutions provider. We offer a comprehensive range of services including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and distribution.
The Import Operator is responsible for managing the smooth and efficient Import process for our clients. Please note: this role is fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity.
- Manage the complete Import cycle from booking to delivery.
- Use of Internal & External system software and Microsoft Excel to manage our client’s shipments.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, overseas partners and other stakeholders to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all Import activities, shipment costs and sales whilst ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and providing updates to clients.
- Report any claims or disputes related to import shipments.
- Experience as an Import Operator or in a similar role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Experience with Port systems software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
