We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Upminster. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 and fully office based.

Key Duties
  • Preparing and confirming remittances for payments
  • Chasing accounts for outstanding invoices by telephone, email and other available media
  • Liaising with other Departments, Management and Uniserve branches regarding unpaid accounts and invoices
  • Running credit reports via the Creditsafe website
  • Maintaining and updating customer details within Multifreight
  • Preparing weekly ‘Accounts Causing Concern’ reports for the Accounts Manager / Credit Control Supervisor
  • To carry out other ad-hoc accounting duties requested by the Credit Control Supervisor or Accounts Manager
  • To always follow company policies and procedures and ensure that the expected company standards and ethics are met and exhibited
Skills/Experience
  • Experience within an accounts/credit control department but not essential (will consider a candidate looking for their first position within finance)
  • At least 5 GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths and English
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
