Uniserve is looking for a dependable and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join their growing transport team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods during night-time operations. This is a key role in keeping our logistics network running smoothly overnight.

Salary: £39,299 annual.

Shift pattern: Rolling rota of 4 on, 4 off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle to complete night trunking, collections, and deliveries.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks in line with company and DVSA standards.
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and comply with all safety requirements.
  • Adhere to tachograph, Working Time Directive, and road transport regulations.
  • Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with the night transport office and planners.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively at all times.
  • Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience in night trunking or general haulage (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
