Overview

We\’re currently seeking a proactive and organised Transport Planning Administrator to support our fast-paced transport planning team. This is a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing communications, coordinating bookings, and maintaining system accuracy.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Monitoring the transport inbox, prioritising and actioning emails effectively.
  • Creating and inputting jobs into our planning system with precision.
  • Booking and confirming collections and deliveries across internal and external contacts.
  • Acting as a key liaison for customer queries, providing timely updates.
  • Keeping all transport systems up-to-date and compliant.
  • Collaborating with planners and drivers to ensure efficient execution of plans.
  • Assisting with reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, or admin support (desirable).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office – especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with TMS systems is a plus.
