We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team on the Howdens Joinery Contract on day shift. As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Salary: £43,855 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days (staying out overnight, 1 to 3 days)
Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods and materials to various Howdens Joinery destinations
- Ensuring goods are loaded and secured properly
- Following all traffic laws and regulations
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
- Involves nights out 1-3 per week
- Strapping Chipboard loads
Requirements:
- A valid HGV license and CPC card
- At least 2 years of experience as an HGV Driver
- A good driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
