We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Upminster. The role involves maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and hospitality across the office building and 12-bedroom accommodation facilities. This position creates a clean, organised, welcoming, and professional environment for staff, visitors, and guests, and supports hospitality services including breakfast items, refreshments, and drinks when required.

Working hours are Tuesday to Friday, 6:30am to 10:30am.

Key Duties:
  • Carry out daily cleaning of offices, communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and accommodation areas.
  • Ensure bedrooms are maintained to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Complete dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitising, polishing, and waste disposal duties.
  • Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as required.
  • Replenish toiletries, kitchen supplies, cleaning materials, and refreshments.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and present light breakfast items and refreshments for staff and guests when required.
  • Serve tea, coffee, water, and other beverages professionally during meetings or events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties or requests as directed by the management team, in line with the nature of the role.
