Shape the future of logistics at Uniserve! We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Transport Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across our network.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (05.00 to 15.00, 08.00 to 18.00 & 10.00 to 20.00). We would be looking for the right candidate to be flexible in working all 3, when required.
What you'll be doing:
- Route Planning: Design efficient delivery routes considering distance, traffic, and deadlines.
- Driver Management: Manage and support drivers on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations.
- Load Coordination: Ensure proper load distribution and vehicle capacity with warehouse staff.
- Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance and utilisation.
- Delivery Monitoring: Track progress and provide updates to customers.
