We're currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in Rugby. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing a top-tier service to our valued customers. Location will be Rugby where you will be expected to shunt from customer to depot on LST trailers. Full training will be given.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, so some weekend work will be required. Shift time: 10pm until 10am. Salary: £40,000 annual.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures to guarantee roadworthiness.
- Report any vehicle defects immediately and accurately following company protocol.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of company vehicles.
- Communicate any customer complaints to the Transport team promptly.
- Adhere to all current EU road transport regulations.
- Ensure freight is securely loaded and within weight and capacity limits.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.
