HGV Class 1 Day driver

Are you ready to take on the open road? James Kemball, a proud member of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. About the Role: Please note this role is part time, ideally at the weekends. As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of containers across the UK. Your responsibilities will include: Safely and efficiently operating HGV Class 1 vehicles Adhering to all road traffic regulations and company policies Completing accurate paperwork and logs Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle What We’re Looking For: Valid HGV Class 1 C+E licence 2 years Class 1 Up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card RHIDES Card Clean driving licence with minimal points Strong understanding of road traffic regulations, including Driver Hours and Tachograph rules Experience with splitter trailers and container handling (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and team-oriented approach Must be punctual Pay attention to detail Be courteous to customers and other staff members.
