Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Operator's License and drivers hours legislation are adhered toDealing with any issues that arise impacting operations, including traffic delays, breakdowns, accidentsManaging drivers including agency drivers and subcontractorsAlongside Fleet Department Maintain and action all defects immediately following the correct process and ensure any VOR vehicles are kept off the road until rectifiedWork with customers to meet current and anticipated requirements to achieve service expectationsDrive high standards and flag opportunities for process improvementTo ensure constructive relationships with all customers are maintained and developedTo undertake any duties as may reasonably be requiredExperience & Skills: Proven Container transport experienceExperience within a customer service backgroundExperience in a fast-moving logistics environmentProficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, MS Word and ExcelAttention to detail supported by high quality written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adapt to changes within the work environmentProblem solverExcellent multitasking skillsAbility to work under pressure, be well organised and to meet deadlinesWillingness to learn rolesBenefits: Competitive salaryDay shift working patternOvertime opportunitiesTraining and development opportunitiesPension schemeHoliday entitlementOpportunity to work within a growing container and logistics operation
