We are seeking a Night Controller to assist with overseeing and coordinating transportation operations during the night shift. This role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of vehicles, drivers, and passengers/goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocate vehicles and drivers according to schedules and operational requirements
- Monitor trip execution to ensure on-time departures and arrivals
- Handle real-time operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route deviations, or driver shortages
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company transport policies
- Conduct driver briefings and ensure adherence to shift protocols
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, attendance, and incidents
- Coordinate with control room, security, and other departments as required
- Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, or escalations during the shift
- Ensure proper vehicle handover and readiness for the next shift
- Report daily operations, incidents, and KPIs to management
- Good knowledge of transport operations and routing
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, transport management systems, or GPS tools)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Prior night-shift or 24/7 operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of local routes and transport regulations is an advantage
Night shift role, including weekends and holidays as required. Field and office-based work.
