We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles (Class 1) in accordance with all relevant regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects immediately
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of freight
- Comply with all relevant traffic and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Represent Uniserve professionally at all times
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC card
- Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence
- Proven experience as an HGV Driver (Class 1)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
