Based at our excellent facility in Felixstowe (FMDC) the role of the Account Manager will be to maintain and further develop quality relationships with existing key account customers and also champion operational success and ensure customer retention and development is always a priority.

Responsibilities

  • Manage current key account customer(s)
  • Maintain effective relationships with existing customers and internal business units
  • Provide an exceptional level of service to customers
  • Speaking to customers via MS Outlook, MS Teams and telephone, helping them with their questions and resolving their issues
  • Prepare KPI packs for customer reviews
  • Create and maintain agreed customer SLAs
  • Create, maintain & distribute customer reporting as agreed within the contracts
  • Attend meetings with the customer(s) either virtually or in person
  • Engage with the warehouse departments to keep the communication flow effective
  • Identify and communicate ways the company can continuously improve in all areas of customer interaction and operations
  • Complete training as necessary to develop skill sets and knowledge base
  • Always promote a professional image of Uniserve to prospective clients and customers
  • Completion of any other duties as reasonably requested by the Management Team

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years experience within a Logistics Account Management background
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a fast-moving logistics environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Power Point, MS Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail supported by high quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable within a customer facing environment at all levels
  • Ability to adapt to changes within the work environment
  • Problem solver
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, be well organised and to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn roles across the broader W+T Commercial Team
